For the Kingdom

Our duty as children of God is to sow for the kingdom of God. What ever it is that God has given you as a gift, is for you to use it to help souls come to know Christ. God has called us all to be and to make disciples of others. Every Christians duty first is to Love God with all their heart, soul, mind and with all your might. Second is to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all who are lost with no hope and this falls into loving your neighbor as you love yourself. The other day I heart Dwight Thomson say on TBN that on any given Sunday only 10% of all the people in America will attend church. That hit me like a stone on the head and as I look through my list or my Archive of poems today this one poem made me think about how many people are lost in this world and that includes some of my own loved ones. So today I thought it was fitting to post this poem. God bless you and look and find out what is your Gift and use it to bring souls to Christ and His Kingdom.

The Compassion of Jesus

35 Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.
36 But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd.
37 Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few.
38 Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”
Matthew 9:35-38

Lost Souls

So many, so many wonderful but lost souls,
in a world full of Deceit, famine and decease,
searching for love, Hope and some peace,
but they hate, live with despair and hostility,
with no ability to mobilize their mentality,
for lack of sensitivity, honor is forgotten,

Like a snake after it has bitten, it wonders off,
looking for new prey, demons lurk and wait,
for one to stumble, so they can help one to fall,
from the sight of God and to the shame of man,
who trade sin for their honor, dignity and respect,
as though Jesus was old, winkle, cripple or dead
making HIM blind, so what they do, HE can't see,

The fool who thinks and believe that evil is unseen,
who's heart will not conceive, deeds unjustly deemed,
on earth our sins, ring and register books in Heaven,
where God will erase and your soul Jesus has redeem.
